When Disney released their new film “The Princess and the Frog”, I already knew what Nevaeh’s theme for her birthday party would be. And boy did she make a beautiful “Princess Tiana”. The party was equipped with nail painting, dress up and a special fairy wish. It was an amazing day.

I know that i have been busy with my new little boy but now i am getting back into the swing of things and will be posting pictures soon. Here is a preview of three beautiful brides that I photographed before I went on maternity leave.

Another wonderful couple, another beautiful wedding to come.
Shanika and Antoine met me at my favorite location for their engagement session.
I was amazed at how natural and comfortable they were with each other.
They are obviously so in love with each other, and I’m so glad I will be there to capture their special day.

When Chawntay suggested that we have her engagement session at the War Memorial in DC, I thought to myself that would be nice. I haven’t been to the National Mall in years it would be a great trip. When the day arrived and I step on the mall I felt like an un-patriotic American. Being as though I only live 45 minutes from DC, I should visit more. Especially after seeing the memorials of those who have given up their lives for our country. It was truly amazing.
So I say thank you to Eric & Chawntay for choosing this location for your engagement session and giving me a wake up call on the amazing treasures that our country holds. I look forward to your wedding in October.
