  • Welcome to Tiffaney Watts Photography

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffaney Watts and I would like to welcome you to my new blogsite. I am a Wedding and Lifestyle photographer based in Baltimore, MD!

Photography is a study of people and their dynamic nature, their uniqueness. As ever-changing as the winds, people possess a character that I feel deserves a similarly unique means by which to frame this beauty. Photography, however, is not just about people. It is also about blending people and objects with light, whether natural or artificial in nature. The blending of these unique elements creates an artistry that is not only developed in that singular moment, but is perpetually being developed daily.

God has allowed me to develop my role in this artistry movement, for this is what I am and strive daily to be: an artist. Some artists use music; some use words or even brushes. I use the camera, to see the beauty where others may only see monotony. My photography captures my art. And as the artist, I anxiously await to capture the masterpiece that lies in you.

So thank you for allowing me to share this gift with you. I hope that you enjoy my site.

PS...that handsome baby in the picture is my son!

The Start of a New Adventure

Taylor the Kindergartener

I don’t think that I remember my first day of school. I remember the start of each school year but I don’t remember the my very first day of school. As a child I guess it was really a big deal. As a parent it’s a HUGE deal. The excitement is overwhelming. School is a big deal. Going out into the world where you have to basically look after yourself (of course the teacher helps… more than you know) but no mommy and daddy by your side. It’s such a big step!!!

Yesterday, my daughter took that step. Taylor attended her first day of Kindergarten. Talking with Taylor the night before was a little daunting. She was so nervous with so many question (how would she learn, who would help her with her homework). After answering all of the question sufficiently (at least I hope) she went off to sleep. By the time I awoke the next morning, she was already up, had eaten breakfast and was brushing her teeth. She was really excited as I helped her put her clothes on. Of course I had to grab the camera and document this amazing moment.

When she came home she was so excited and said that she had such a good day which made me really happy!
